West Central District Champions
Lancer Boys win another League title.

Seth moves into 4th place all time with an outstanding 9:15 4th place run at the Shoreline Invite where 7 runners were under 9:21.
Lancers have several outstanding marks in the Tacoma Invite. The boys win the team title and Lakes finishes third in combined scoring. Several athletes move into all time top 10 lists for Lakes.

News Seth wins Meet of Champions 3200 meters. Gante takes 4th in 300 hurdles, Latanya is 6th in the 400, and Micale run on the 4th place Distance Medley Relay. Seth finishes 3rd in the 3200 and 6th in the 1600. The Boys 1600 relay finishes 5th and the girls 8th. Gante places 4th & 5th in the hurdles, Jermaine takes 5th in the triple jump. Lancer Boys win districts once again while the girls finish 10th. Lakes sends 21 athletes on to state. Both the Lancer Boys and girls perform well on day 2. Lancer boys controlled the meet, scoring over 200 points. The girls improved on their dual meet season with a strong second place behind Capital. The next stop is the district meet. Both Lancer Boys and Girls perform well on the first day of the Western Cascade Conference meet. Several athletes move on to districts or qualify for Saturday's finals. Complete results are here. Lancer Boys finish season undefeated once again. Both Boys and girls teams perform well at the Tacoma Invite. Several athletes set season or all time best performances. The boys continue their winning ways with another win, this time over Shelton. Lakes girls sweep the relays and get strong performances in the throws but lose a heartbreaker by 6 points. Kent Meridian Invite: Lakes athletes set meet records in the Boys 400 relay, Girls 400 relay, & boys Triple Jump. Lakes athletes also win the girls 400, boys 300 hurdles, and boys 800. Lakes boys finish 2nd and girls finish 5th overall in the 20 team meet. Click here for meet results. Capital: Lakes boys win again in the snow and sleet. Lakes girls perform well in the sprints and jumps, but lose a tough meet to Capital's depth. Timberline: Lakes sweeps Boys and Girls Relays and Sabrina S. becomes the Lancers first ever female pole vaulter (and first vaulter in over 15 years).
