Head Coaches
Joe Clark: Girls Head Track Coach
Coach Clark has been coaching track 15 years at Lakes. This is his 6th year as the girls head coach. He teaches graphic arts and is the yearbook advisor as well as coaching cross country. Joe was a cross-country and track athlete at Bellevue Community College and the University of Puget Sound (X/C only). He is an is an avid kayaker and enjoys cycling, cross country skiing, and hiking in his free time. Contact Coach Clark.
Willis Freeman: Head Boys Coach
Coach Freeman moves into his 3rd year as head coach. Prior to that he worked with the long triple, and high jumpers as well as relays and sprints. Coach Freeman is also the running backs and strength and conditioning coach for the Lakes Football team.
Assistant Coaches
Dave Miller: Assistant Coach, Sprints
Coach Miller will work with sprints and relays after a three year stint as head coach. He also has coached football at Lakes for the past 21 years. For 14 years he was an assistant coach and offensive coordinator, before taking over as head coach. Coach Miller was a football player, sprinter and jumper for Clover Park High School, and played football at Wenatchee Valley Community College.
Curt Corvin: Assistant Track Coach, Distances
Curt was a four time All American while at Lakes, and went on to an All American career at the University of Washington. He is also a co-head coach with the cross country team.
Jason Silbaugh: Assistant Track Coach, Throws
Jason teaches Social Studies at Lakes and is also the defensive coordinator for the Lakes football team.
Dave McEachern: Assistant Track Coach, Throws.
Coach Mac is also an assistant basketball & football coach.
Amy Williams: Assistant Coach, Pole Vault
Amy is in her 3rd year as our pole vault coach and is also an assistant cross country coach in the fall. Amy was a vaulter for North Thurston High School.
Wayne Bridges: Assistant Coach, Distances
Wayne has been assistng the distance runners for four years. He also helps with cross country. Wayne is an automotive instructor at Clover Park Technical College and is a Lakes Alumni.
